CHILLIWACK – Police in Chilliwack are appealing to the public for help in locating a Bobcat skid steer that was stolen from a property in Greendale last week.
Chilliwack RCMP Corporal Carmen Kiener says police received a report last Wednesday, October 14, at approximately 2:33 p.m., that a Bobcat had been stolen from a property in Greendale.
She says police investigators are now working to determine where the equipment may have been taken and are asking the public to report any information that could enable the police investigatio.
“As Bobcat skid steers are commonly seen on farms and construction sites, police are encouraging residents to think about any equipment that may have appeared out of place in the days following the theft,” Cpl. Kiener said.
Investigators are also interested in hearing from anyone who observed suspicious activity involving trailers, towing vehicles, or heavy equipment in the Greendale area around the time of the reported theft.
Anyone with information, surveillance footage, dash camera video, or who may have seen a Bobcat that appeared out of place is asked to contact the Chilliwack RCMP at 604-792-4611 and quote file # 2026-46077.
