Ruby is roaming Chilliwack every weekend, ready to hand out $1,000 to someone who knows the secret cash cow code word.
Starting Monday, March 4th, listen every weekday for hints on where Ruby will be that weekend and be ready with the secret code word you need to win the cash. You gotta be listening to know the secret code word and get the hints.
The first person to find Ruby and whisper the secret code word in her ear, wins $1,000!

Contest Rules
- The JR Cash Cow Search Contest (hereinafter: the “Contest”) will run from Monday, March 4th until Sunday, April 28th, 2024. The Contest may, without prior notice, end early or be extended at the sole decision of the contest organizer.
- This Contest is only open to legal residents of the Fraser Valley Regional District in British Columbia, Canada and who have reached the age of majority. A contestant under nineteen (19) years of age or older must have a parent or guardian who is at least nineteen (19) years of age or older to claim any prize.
- There is a weekly prize of $1,000.00 CAD.
- For the chance to win a prize, you must listen weekdays (Monday to Friday, excluding statutory holidays) during the contest period to find out when Ruby the JR Cash Cow (Mascot) will be on location with the prize, and you must listen for clues on where Ruby the JR Cash Cow (Mascot) will be on the weekend. A Secret Code Word will also be announced exclusively on-air.
- The first person to find Ruby the JR Cash Cow(Mascot) on the designated date and time, at the “Secret” location and give the correct Secret Code Word to Ruby will be declared the Winner. If there are any discrepancies on who was first, there may be a draw. The final winner will be decided solely by JR Staff.
- If a player wins money with the Contest, they are not eligible to win again with the Cash Cow Search during this Spring contest period. If a player does not win money, they may try to play again.
- Winners will only be awarded their cash prize once eligibility is confirmed, and they have signed off on a prize release. Cash prizes will be awarded in the form of a cheque. Cheques will be mailed to winners or arrangements may be made to claim cheques from the 89.5 JR Country Office.
- In addition to these Contest rules, Pattison Media’s general Contest Rules also apply.
- All decisions of the Contest Organizers or those of their representatives regarding this Contest are final and binding.
