Chilliwack teenager reported missing
CHILLIWACK — A 15-year-old Chilliwack teenager has been reported missing to the RCMP amid concerns from his mom that his well-being is at risk.
According to a social media post from Laura Lee Csurdi dated Wednesday night, Dec. 20 at about 9:38 p.m., Tristan Bezeau went missing sometime Wednesday. Csurdi says she has driven all over downtown Chilliwack looking for her son, and believes he could be anywhere B.C. Transit buses in Chilliwack travel.
Csurdi says Bazeau usually wears dark clothing, stands 5’9″ tall and weighs 155 to 165 pounds. He has brown hair and hazel eyes. He was possibly last seen in downtown Chilliwack with a female associate, but his mom remains exceptionally concerned for Tristan’s safety.
In response to an inquiry from Fraser Valley Today, Chilliwack RCMP spokesperson Corporal Carmen Kiener confirmed that police are investigating Bazeau’s disappearance.
“He was reported missing and we are conducting an investigation to locate him,” Cpl. Kiener said. “An official media release will be disseminated once the time comes when it is appropriate.”
The Chilliwack RCMP file number pertaining to Bazeau’s disappearance is 2023-53107.
