MISSION – The veteran group from Cape Breton is bringing its four decades of East Coast Christmas traditions to the Fraser Valley later this month.

According to a news release, The Barra MacNeils have spent 40 years on the road, sharing their signature blend of Celtic music, Christmas favourites, Gaelic ballads, foot-stomping instrumentals and step dancing with audiences across the country.

Their East Coast Christmas:  40th Anniversary Tour hits Mission November 17 at the Clarke Theatre.

After that, the band will play Oliver, Salmon Arm and Invermere before continuing the tour east to Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and Nova Scotia.
