MISSION – Mission Fire Rescue Service says an investigation will take place after a fire burned multiple recreational vehicles and a pair of semi-trucks Thursday night.
According to a statement from the agency, Mission firefighters battled multiple derelict RVs on fire shortly after 9 p.m. Thursday (Oct. 22) at the north end of Durieu Street.
Seven RVs and two semi-trucks were involved, Mission Fire Rescue Service said.

“We don’t believe any of the RVs were occupied at the time of the fire,” said Deputy Chief Nick Rychkun. “Many of the RVs had to be towed away from each other to ensure the fire was extinguished.”
An investigation will take place, MFRS said.
