Sasha Needs a Fur-Ever Home

For Pets Sake- Meet Sasha. A special cat with special needs. Sasha is a big, lovable, easy-going tortoiseshell lady who loves to make biscuits. She is 14 years old and tips the scales at 8 kg. Sasha is diabetic and requires an insulin injection twice a day and her blood glucose levels need to be monitored. She also requires a special diet, not only for the diabetes but also for weight control. Sasha takes all this in stride and is never ornery. Is there someone out there who would open their heart and give this sweet, special girl the loving home she deserves?

89.5 JR Country’s “For Pets Sake” is all about matching lost and abandoned pets with new loving “furever” homes. Four times a month on Tuesday we feature cats and dogs in need of a home.

The cats featured on “For Pets Sake” come from the Chilliwack Animal Safe Haven at 49843 Chilliwack Central Road, Chilliwack. While the dogs featured come from the FVRDCare Centre on Wolf road.
