Vehicle crash slows Hwy. 1 e/b at Prest Rd. in Chilliwack Wednesday AM

CHILLIWACK — Multiple Chilliwack Fire Department engines were dispatched along with RCMP members and B.C. EHS paramedics for a reported motor vehicle crash on Hwy. 1 at Prest Road Wednesday morning.
First responders were paged at approximately 8:15 a.m. for a single-vehicle crash.
DriveBC advised motorists at 8:26 a.m. that they should expect delays eastbound due to a vehicle incident near Prest Road. Crews remain on scene as of 8:41 a.m.
Scanner traffic indicated that a person involved in the crash may have left the scene.
