Chiefs Sign Forward Peter Murray

Chilliwack, B.C. – The Chilliwack Chiefs are excited to announce the signing of forward Peter Murray from Edina, Minnesota.

Standing 6-foot-1 and weighing 190 pounds, Murray adds size to the Chiefs’ forward group as the team looks to strengthen its offensive zone presence.

Murray recorded 35 points (19 goals, 16 assists) in 28 games with St. Thomas Academy during the 2025/26 season, serving as an assistant captain. He then joined the Minot Minotauros (NAHL) before beginning the 2026/27 season with the Omaha Lancers (USHL)

“Peter brings a good combination of size and speed,” said Chiefs Head Coach & GM Brian Maloney. “We’re a little undersized up front, and we’re looking forward to having him help strengthen the offensive area of our game”

The Chiefs welcome Peter to Chilliwack and look forward to seeing him contribute to the team.
