Borin & Brunner Sign Professional Contracts
Chilliwack, B.C. – The Chilliwack Chiefs are proud to announce that forwards Boris Borin and Maximilian Brunner have signed contracts for the 2026–27 season.
Borin has signed with Amurskie Tigry Khabarovsk (MHL), while Brunner has signed with Blue Devils Weiden (DEL2).
“Borin is an extremely smart player. Coming over to North America for the first time without speaking the language is not easy, but he handled it well and adjusted quickly. He was the BCHL Rookie of the Year and one of the league’s top players in a group of 19- and 20-year-olds. Signing a pro contract before leaving our program is a great accomplishment,” said ChHead Coach Brian Maloney.
“Brunner worked extremely hard on and off the ice. He never complained and did everything we asked. Signing a pro contract back home in a league comparable to the ECHL is a strong step in his career.’” Said Maloney
The Chilliwack Chiefs organization congratulates Boris Borin and Maximilian Brunner and wishes them continued success in their professional careers.
