Almi and Teko Need a Fur-Ever Home

For Pets Sake – The Safe Haven is featuring the magnificent sister and brother duo of Almi and Teko.

Almi (F) and Teko (M) were kittens fostered by a Haven volunteer. They were adopted in October, 2024, but were returned recently because their guardians’ dog never adjusted to having cats in the house. Despite their size, they are only 15 months old. They are a little shy at first, but they quickly warm up to you. They need a quiet, adult-only household and – obviously! – no dogs. Being longer-haired, they also require frequent brushing and coat care to be at their best. And it goes without saying that they need to be adopted together.

89.5 JR Country’s “For Pets Sake” is all about matching lost and abandoned pets with new loving “furever” homes. Four times a month on Tuesday we feature cats and dogs in need of a home.

The cats featured on “For Pets Sake” come from the Chilliwack Animal Safe Haven at 49843 Chilliwack Central Road, Chilliwack. While the dogs featured come from the FVRDCare Centre on Wolf road.
