Another power outage in Chilliwack leaves over 2,400 without power Tuesday

CHILLIWACK — Another week, another power outage in Chilliwack.
BC Hydro’s online dashboard reveals an outage that began at 2:45 p.m. has left about 2,413 customers in Yarrow, Cultus Lake, the Chilliwack River Valley and the surrounding areas without power Tuesday afternoon.
Crews are on site as of 3:09 p.m.
No cause has been identified. BC Hydro only says it’s under investigation.
There are three other outages in Chilliwack, of which two are planned outage affecting about 103 customers, while a third one on Tolmie Road in Yarrow is due to a downed wire.
