Beyoncé Announces Country Album
Beyoncé is going COUNTRY?!
The Music Icon announced the long awaited Part II of her Renissance album in a Verizon Superbowl Ad. The commercial showed the artist trying to break the Verizon 5G by doing crazy things and breaking the internet but not the network. The artist doesn’t break the Verizon 5G in the commercial but ends it teasing new music saying “OK, they ready — drop the new music. I told y’all the ‘Renaissance’ is not over,”.

Following the ad Beyoncé released a final teaser video to her Instagram with including the album title and release date. In the video it shows a Billboard with the “Crazy In Love” singer in a cowboy hat reading “Texas Hold ‘Em,” and a license plate saying the same. Beyoncé is from Texas so her transition to country music could be her going back to her roots.
