Chairs elected for the Fraser Valley Regional District Board and Hospital Board

CHILLIWACK — The Fraser Valley Regional District (FVRD) Board has elected positions for its board and the Fraser Valley Regional Hospital Board.

The FVRD Board, comprising 24 members, elected Director Jason Lum for another term as the Board Chair. Director Patricia Ross was re-elected to the Vice-Chair position. Both will serve in their roles for the next 12 months.

The Fraser Valley Regional District follows a governance structure where Directors, serving four-year terms, participate in annual elections for leadership roles in November.

Director Sylvia Pranger was re-elected as Chair of the Fraser Valley Regional Hospital Board while Director Paul Horn will serve in the role of Acting Chair.

The elections were held at the FVRD Board meeting on Thursday.
